The subject of design has an important role at the heart of innovation, often within multidisciplinary teams, for example involving technology or materials science, or tackling environmental challenges.
As an integral part of the London region research and innovation infrastructure, the 26 London Design Schools play an active part in World leading research supported by substantial funding from Government and industry.
