At any time during the academic year there are about 19,000 students studying design at the 26 Design Schools in the London Region, with a further 55,000 studying closely related subjects such as Art or Architecture.
The London region is a global cultural hub which attracts students from all over the world. In fact over 30% of the students studying design and related subjects are from outside the UK. This cultural mix is one of the qualities highlighted by international business as a reason to base global design operations in London.
